Hello From Thailand!- Vblog #1

By |October 9th, 2015|Asia, Home, Travel Posts|

Hello hello! Its been a full week since I've arrived in SE Asia and between guesthouses, hostels, street food, learning to ride a motorbike, and temple watching, it's been pretty busy and epic! I can't express enough how much fun I am having while learning to deal with the challenges that comes with running my blog and traveling on a serious budget. I'm coming to you from the lobby of my hostel in Koh Samui, Thailand where the internet comes and goes, but it seems to be the best WiFi I've been connected to yet. With that said, check out my first 3 days [...]

Everyone knows that the internet has changed the way we meet people, travel, and even see the world. I remember when I first lived abroad, I learned how to read a map for the first time, and that's how I got around. Lonely or Alone? How I Really Feel When I Travel Solo

By |September 10th, 2015|America, Home, Lifestyles, Travel Posts|

I was recently asked during a blog interview if I ever feel lonely or alone, when traveling solo. It's usually the one question I always get asked the most:  "Aren't you lonely, don't you feel scared traveling alone? I could never do that!" Difference between the two: lonely without company. Feeling completely separated from others. alone being solo or physically separate from others. Now, let's be real. I am human. Of course I feel both, lonely and alone at times. On the occasion I can feel lonely. Thats normal. It would be nice to share my traveling moments with someone. When I travel solo I meet tons of people, [...]

Before I decided to leave my cubical life. I had been warned that blogging is hard and travel blogging is even harder. I didn't think to much of it! A Traveler’s Lifestyle- It Isn’t For Everyone

By |August 28th, 2015|Asia, Home, Lifestyles, Travel Posts|

Being a traveler is a lifestyle. To be honest, it's something I came to terms with recently. I've realized it more since I've been home, especially since I am headed out again soon. And it isn't for everyone! In the recent months I met so many wonderful people from all around the world and every time I say, "I am a travel blogger' they look at me like I got 10 heads. (Like listen buddy, I've already come to terms with the fact that people think I am nuts because I quit a paying job, but I am happy so don't judge! Ha!) They [...]

The Hills of San Francisco & Two Places You Have To See

By |August 21st, 2015|America, Home, Travel Posts|

The city of hills. You could walk everywhere in San Francisco (SF), but people usually avoid the hills. The further you walk away from the water the higher those hills get. Lets just say after going the wrong way for 10 minutes and walking up 4 hills, I realized I was avoiding hills at all costs during my visit to SF. A weekend trip it was. A 'quickie', I call them. I stayed with mates (friends), so it helped on my budget. I arrived to SF on Thursday morning. I went right to Mission. I took the BART into SF. Cheapest and one of the [...]
