Why I Travel- How It All Started

By |July 24th, 2015|Home, Spain, Travel Posts|

I can't tell you how many times I've written this post and then deleted it. First, I was going to write about all the beautiful things to do and see in one of my favorite cities in the world: Sevilla Spain. Which is the city that started it all for me in 2009 when I studied abroad for the first time. But then I saw this video...(below) And I was inspired to share how I feel about traveling. You guys are constantly asking me how I built up the courage to quit my job, and walk half way across Spain, and then travel some [...]

By |July 17th, 2015|Home, Lifestyles|

With August almost approaching, and with almost everyone planning their last-minute summer get-a-away trips. I wanted to share with you guys my 8 go-to apps for traveling! Everyone's always asking me if I have any tips for booking cheap flights or for getting around a new city. So Listen Up...   For Flight/Trains/Bus:  1. skyscanner- I LOVE THIS APP. MY FAVORITE! What I love about it is that it gives you ranges of days when its a good time to fly at the cheapest rate! Since I mostly book my flights 'last min' I need something that gives many opinions for a few days ahead. [...]

Life In Punta Cana-Outside of The Resort Life

By |July 15th, 2015|Caribbean, Dominican Republic, Travel Posts|

My trip to Punta Cana was a spontaneous trip, but because I am always on social media and connecting with people from all over the world. I made friends from DR even before I landed! Haha I went out a few nights after dinner at the Paradisus Palma Real Resort with some local friends. I know that people are slightly skeptical about visiting the local villages and towns in Dominican Republic because they aren't the safest. So let me make it clear, I was with friends, locals, people who knew where to go and when to go. Before I get there, let me tell you [...]

My Surfing Trips

By |July 7th, 2015|Home, Surfing|

After returning from Dominican Republic and learning to surf, all I've been thinking about is surfing! (Seriously, what is wrong with me!) Haha It's not like I was outrageously good and I can be a pro surfer. Haha! Anyways... I've decided to make a part of my blog just for my surfing adventures and trips. I plan to continue to learn and actually be decent. And share my experiences and upcoming surfing trips. Also because, if you haven't heard the recent news, I became a COSTA Bikini Blogger! You can check me out there too. My biggest issue right now, is that I am back in [...]

What I Appreciate The Most- My Family

By |June 18th, 2015|Caribbean, Dominican Republic, Lifestyles, Travel Posts|

I've mentioned in other blog posts, especially after El Camino, that I missed my family. I am a big family girl. I mean I am half Cuban (it's a cultural thing)! I am guilty of constantly messaging them on a daily basis. So when they told me a few months ago that they were going to Dominican Republic for a family vacation, and they wanted me to come, my wheels started turning! We were staying at the Paradisus Palma Real Resort in Punta Cana. I arrived a day earlier than them, as I had an 8 hour flight to recover from. My family arrived [...]
