Visiting The 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City And Why As A New Yorker You Should Too, Now More Than Ever

By |December 7th, 2016|America, Home, Travel Posts|

2,977- Number of lives lost on 9/11. I was skeptical about visiting the World Trade Center (WTC) Memorial & Museum because I thought it would be too sad. I remember that day clearly. Although I was young I will never forget that day. I don't think anyone has or ever will forget. The tour wasn't exactly a 'happy' tour, and I can't lie and say I didn't cry. But it was a beautiful tour. The stories of the fallen were beautifully told. The whole experience allowed me to walk away with an appreciation for America, New Yorker's, and humanity in general. Especially where [...]

The Ultimate Traveler’s Christmas List!! (&Tips)

By |November 28th, 2016|Home, Lifestyles, Travel Goodies (Products)|

Nothing more annoying than running through a 'Christmas List' of recommended items and still have a shit ton of questions about each product. Like what size is this? Will this actually fit in my suitcase? Is this really practical? Does the picture quality come out good? etc. I get it guys! So I've created the ultimate traveler's Christmas list and some tips along the way. I've used and abused all these gadgets and products. As in, I've dropped or banged against something (literally) a thousand times. I've also taken all (or most) of these products with me traveling. I've shared tips on traveling, like [...]

Product Review: American Tourister YELLOW-Lock ‘N’ Roll

By |October 31st, 2016|Home, Travel Goodies (Products)|

I've been traveling with 'my yellow banana' since May of this year. It's been everywhere! I've not even kidding. It's been to three different countries. It's been used and abused! (Good thing it comes with a 10 year warranty!) I love the color, but hate it at the same time. Why? (it's a double edge sword) . I picked the color yellow so my luggage sticks out (does a great job of doing that) and I won't loose it. It also makes it really easy to explain it to an airline company if (God-Forbid) I loose it.  So with the color being yellow it can get [...]

What Most People Say But Won’t Do: Quitting Your Job To Travel The World

By |September 21st, 2016|Home, Lifestyles|

I’ll never forget the feeling I felt when I knew it was time to leave my job. It was a feeling of complete certainty and uncertainty at the same time. Oddly enough it felt like what I was about to do, no matter how nervous and scared I was, I needed to do it. I loved the people I worked with but waking up every morning to sit at the same desk and listen to the same Monday morning meeting was an absolute drag. I wasn’t myself. It was one of the toughest decisions of my life Coming to terms with the fact that I [...]

27 Lessons I’ve Learned About Life, Myself, and Death Since My Brother Died

By |September 10th, 2016|Home, Lifestyles|

This article is for the following individuals, the one that is struggling with a loss (with life or a change). It's for the loved ones we've lost, and for the ones left behind who pick up the pieces. Everyone deals with life and death differently. Some share it and express it, some shutdown, some crumble, and other just move forward (or pretend to). Eventually, we all move forward. Machu Picchu-2016 I choose to focus on celebrating their lives, not their death.  If you've read my Huffington Post article about How Becoming A Travel Blogger Helped Me Cope With My Brother's Death then you'll [...]
